My Summer Face/Foundation Routine

During the summer I tend to not wear any foundation. It gets way too hot outside and the last thing I want is the feel of heavy foundation on my face. In the summer, the main things that I always do no matter what is keep my skin moisturized and protect it using sunscreen.

Here is what I do on a daily basis…

1.       I always start my makeup with clean and moisturized skin. (It is recommended to have a moisturizer with SPF)
2.       Instead of using foundation, I use a tinted moisturizer. It feels so much lighter on your skin. I have been enjoying Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint in the shade Bronze.
3.       I then use my concealer to cover up any imperfections on my face. Revlon PhotoReady Concealer Stick in Medium Deep is the perfect shade for me during the summer.
4.       To brighten up under my eye area, I use the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle in the shade medium.
5.       After that, I set my face VERY LIGHTLY, using a complexion brush from ELF, with a translucent powder from Physicians Formula.
6.       To give my face a little more glow, I just dust a little bit of Laura Geller Baked Blush N’ Brighten in the shade “In Honey Dipped” on my cheeks. I like to apply it with a fan brush, because the powder is really pigmented. It also gives a lighter application, which looks more natural.

That’s pretty much it. After my face is done I fill in my brows, do my eye makeup, and then lips. If you have any questions, comments, requests, or product review requests, feel free to leave them below. I am curious to hear what you do in the summer, as far as your face makeup routine goes. I would love to know about it below.
